UGREEN 20827 USB 3.0 Active Extension Cable 10M

UGREEN 20827 stretches USB connectivity by 10 meters. Most USB cables cap out at 2 or 3 meters before signal drops. This one runs 10 meters without that problem.

Active cable design handles the distance. Built-in circuitry inside the cable pushes the signal through. Passive cables lack this circuitry and fail at long distances. UGREEN added active components to the 20827 specifically for extended runs.

USB 3.0 spec on this model. Data rates follow USB 3.0 standards when the host and peripheral both support that version.

What plugs into it? Hard drives. Flash drives. Keyboards. Mouse units. Printers sitting across the room from the PC. Card readers. Cameras mounted away from the workstation. Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4 consoles need USB to reach beyond normal cable limits. UGREEN lists all these as compatible.

OS support covers Windows, macOS, Linux, and Chrome OS. Cross-platform cable. Plug it into a Mac or a Windows machine or a Linux box—it works the same.

Setup runs simply. One end goes into the computer USB port. The other end takes the USB plug from whatever peripheral needs connecting. Ten metres of extra distance between host and device opens up.

Office layouts with printers far from desks use cables like this. Gaming setups where the console sits across the room. Home studios with cameras or audio gear mounted at a distance. Any arrangement where USB peripherals cannot reach the host machine with standard cables.

UGREEN model 20827. Ten-meter length. Active USB 3.0 extension. Works with common peripherals and gaming consoles. Runs on major operating systems. The cable does one job—extends USB range by 10 meters.
