The UGREEN model 60554 adds three USB 3.0 ports and one Gigabit Ethernet connection to any device with an available USB-A 3.0 slot. The main body uses aluminum alloy throughout its construction.

On one end sits a USB Type-A 3.0 male plug that goes into the host machine. The opposite side houses three USB 3.0 female ports rated at 5 Gbps each. Peripherals like storage drives, input devices, and other USB accessories connect here. Beside these sits an RJ-45 jack handling 10, 100, or 1000 Mbps Ethernet traffic depending on network conditions.

There is also a USB Type-C female port built into this hub. Its role is limited to power delivery from an external adapter. When several devices pull power simultaneously through the USB ports, this secondary power input becomes relevant.

UGREEN went with aluminum alloy for the outer casing on this model. It is not a plastic build. The hub carries a bit more weight because of this material choice.

Everything runs through that single USB-A connection to the computer. One port on a laptop or desktop enables access to three additional USB connections plus wired networking. UGREEN markets this particular unit under product code 60554 within their adapter lineup.
