UGREEN 70444 works as a bridge between USB-C laptops and HDMI screens. One end has a male USB Type-C plug that goes into the laptop. The other end has a female HDMI socket where you run a cable to your monitor or TV.

4K output at 60Hz refresh rate sits at the top of what this adapter handles. Your laptop and screen both need to support that spec for it to actually hit 4K 60Hz. Otherwise the signal drops to whatever the display accepts.

Thunderbolt 3 machines work with this adapter since Thunderbolt 3 uses the same USB-C port shape. UGREEN put that in the product specs for the 70444.

Housing is aluminum, not plastic. Silver color on the outside. A metal body on a small adapter like this adds some weight but changes the durability factor compared to cheaper plastic builds.
